Me Too. No More. Now What?

Hello beautiful W3,

I apologize that I am later than usual with my message today, I have been in conversations with many of the wild and wise rockstar women in my circle who have wanted to connect asking the question …Now What?

We’ve seen the #nomore campaign go viral. I don’t think that has shocked anyone. What IS shocking to me is the numbness that has accompanied this phenomenon in our culture.

The acceptance and of course — what always continues to shock me … the lack of sisterhood – woman to woman – in the midst of a huge coming together.

I don’t know why it continues to shock me … but it does. And I see it as a good thing, because I never want to become numb or accepting of women tearing other women down. Never.

(Of course, I don’t approve of any tearing down but this IS wild and wise WOMEN after all, so that is where MY focus is.)

So rather than looking “out there”. Rather than waiting for answers from “other people”. I ask you … my brilliant, smart, courageous, bold, and wild tribe.

We’ve seen #metoo.

We’ve said #nomore.

The question I have to ask you is … #nowwhat?

Why am I asking you? Because, just like the Wild and Wise Sisterhood gift box and membership, and the Wild and Wise Global gift boxes, I believe in collaborative energy, collaborative thinking, collaborative impact.

Where lots of small things come together to create greater good. As Margaret Mead has said:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

We are powerful all on our own. We are unstoppable together. And a hundred small baby steps will take us to the very same destination as one giant one. Wild and Wise Women can BE a part of the answer – I believe that.

So let’s talk about it. What step will you take? What conversation will you have? What change will you incorporate?

What shift will you commit to?

Just a step …. and maybe that step is to gather up your friends and have a chat. I believe in YOU – your brilliance and courage. Let’s create a bit of a mind map, a brain trust. Join us in the Wild and Wise FB Group to discuss ideas to move forward.

And let me say this. It is imperative that you are “responsible for the energy you bring” to the discussion. Wild and Wise Women is a SAFE space. And I am not requesting or advocating that we re-tell stories, or re-live experiences through this discussion.

This discussion is for ALL Wild and Wise Women to talk about #nowwhat. What can WE do to change the conversation, change the experience moving forward, change the culture, change the acceptance.

We’ve seen #metoo. We’ve said #nomore.

Now What?

You Are Loved,

PS. I’ve included the links to the free Wild and Wise Boundary Guide, and ’10 Ways to Inspire Change’ for you. I know that they both have fantastic information in them that could help with your answer to yourself of Now What?
